    Unanswered: SQL Mail in 7.0

    Is xp_sendmail supported in SQL Server 7.0? The command below works ok with Sql Server 2000. but when i run it on Sql 7.0.. i get the message:

    Server: Msg 17926, Level 18, State 1, Line 0
    Not supported.

    Command
    Exec Master..xp_SendMail
    @recipients = 'joe.doe@blah.com',
    @subject = 'Subject',
    @message = 'Message'

    Check the extended stored procedures under the master database and make sure it exists - also make sure you have access to it (check the permissions).

    On the same server I have an instance of sql2000 running as well and the same command works ok on that instance. But the sql7 instance the email gievs that errors. I have all the admin rights and access to the server.
