    This is a WAY old question but I was searching for an answer to it as well and I found one that would probably work for an app like calc:

    Someone pls delete the xtra post

    Apparently I'm having some weird issues with NoScript in FireFox and it submitted the post twice before I realized it...

    Another way (Simple way): but the link above is better..
    Code:
    Private Declare Function FindWindow Lib "user32" Alias "FindWindowA" (ByVal lpClassName As String, ByVal lpWindowName As String) As Long
    Private Declare Function SetParent Lib "user32" (ByVal hWndChild As Long, ByVal hWndNewParent As Long) As Long

    Private Sub MDIForm_Load()
        Dim lHwnd As Long

        Shell "calc.exe"

        lHwnd = FindWindow(vbNullString, "Calculator")
        SetParent lHwnd, Me.hWnd

    End Sub
