    Unanswered: Character Set.

    Hello,

I am new to Oracle, I have installed Oracle 9i on windows 2000 and now I want to import some data from a previous database. However the import is failing because the 2 character sets are different.

How can I change the characterset of the database and the block size.

Do I have to re-create the database to import the same.

    Any help is appreciated

    Nitin.
