    Question Unanswered: Who/What is the repository owner??

    Hy!

    I've lost the login for SYSMAN for the OMS.
    Meanwhile I've found following link:
    http://www.ownee.com/portal/portal.h...&file=resetsys

    But I don't know what the repository owner is?
    Can someone explain me this?

    Thanx in advanced,
    Eric

    The repository owner is the user account in your Oracle database that owns the OEM repository (the tables, indexes, and other objects needed to support OEM.)

    The user's name could be anything, such as OEM or ABC. During install it was up to your DBA to pick a name and password.

    If you have access to the data dictionary, query the DBA_TABLES view as such:

    Code:
    SELECT owner FROM DBA_TABLES
    WHERE table_name = 'SMP_LOG_SQL';
    This is just one of the 300+ tables in the repository owner's schema.
