Hi!

I have placed my war file, custom.war ,in tomcat webapps. Previously i placed the following context tag in server.xml.

<Context path="/custom" docBase="custom"
debug="5" reloadable="true" crossContext="true" swallowOutput="true">

<Logger className="org.apache.catalina.logger.FileLogger"
prefix="localhost_custom_log." suffix=".txt"
timestamp="true"/>

<Resource name="jdbc/custom"
auth="Container"
type="javax.sql.DataSource"/>

<ResourceParams name="jdbc/custom">
<parameter>
<name>factory</name>
<value>org.apache.commons.dbcp.BasicDataSourceFact ory</value>
</parameter>

<parameter>
<name>maxActive</name>
<value>100</value>
</parameter>

<parameter>
<name>maxIdle</name>
<value>30</value>
</parameter>

<parameter>
<name>maxWait</name>
<value>10000</value>
</parameter>

<parameter>
<name>username</name>
<value>root</value>
</parameter>
<parameter>
<name>password</name>
<value>root</value>
</parameter>

<parameter>
<name>driverClassName</name>
<value>com.mysql.jdbc.Driver</value>
</parameter>

<parameter>
<name>url</name>
<value>jdbc:mysql://localhost/dbfirst?autoReconnect=true</value>
</parameter>
</ResourceParams>
</Context>

But the problem is "My war file is not getting converted to custom folder after starting the tomcat server".
This case is not araising when i am not placing the context tag in server.xml. But i need the context tag in server.xml to specify the JDBC connection. We r using mysql as backend.
How can i rectify the problem??

Thanks in advance
Waiting for ur quick reply
