Unanswered: Error applying fixpak 4 to DB2 PE V8

    Hi Folks,

Just wondering if anyone else is having a problem trying to apply fixpak 4 to DB2 Personal Edition V8. I am running under windows xp pro. Log file noted below.

I have looked unde rthe installation directory and there is no file db2dasapi.dll, which explains why it can't copy the thing. Looks to me like the installation pack is incomplete.

    Any other ideas???

    Download Error.

    Hi,

I faced the same error once, so i redownloaded the stuff and it worked. Please also note that IBM has changed it's naming standards for fix packs as well so that's a new point for confusion.

Please split the exe... there is an article on the ibm website which explains the process.

    Re: Download Error.

    Nitin,

Thanks for your reply. I did actually split the installation separately before running the upgrade using the setup.exe. I am in the process of downloading the pack again to see whether I have better luck.

    Thanks again
