    Unanswered: form problem

i create a form based on table 1, and includes userID, ComputerID.
then, i want to change the computerID to computer name and computer model, which is based on table 2. how can i do this?
at first, it will look like this:
    userid: 1
    computerid: 1

it will be like this in the end
    userid: 1
    computer: Miky IBM

how can i do this? how can i get information from another table and use it in a form...

Make a Query using the two tables, include all your desired fields, then let this query be the RecordSource of your Form.

    1. you have your form, delete computer Id text box and label
    2. insert a combo box and attach table 2 as your datasource
    3. set the combobox to show you the information you want under formatting.
    4. I normally set a default style up when the new entry loads like select a computer location. This will then remind the user to select a location based on the drop down list from the combo box.

hope this is what you are looking to do.
