    Unanswered: Oracle forms question

    Hi,

    On a canvas I have these items.

    1) button
    2) text field
    3) List item

    I have written a trigger on the button for
    WHEN_BUTTON_PRESSED as follows :

    DECLARE
    txt_item Item;
    BEGIN

    txt_item := Find_Item('TEXT_ITEM5');

    clear_list('BLOCK2.LIST3');

    IF :BLOCK2.TEXT_ITEM5 <> ' ' then

    message('Hello World');

    P_LIST_ITEM('RECGRP','BLOCK2.LIST3','select distinct to_char(channel),to_char(channel) from sv_threshold_mrties where idnt_ov_objt
    =:BLOCK2.TEXT_ITEM5');

    END IF;
    END;

    My Question is :

    I enter the value 13 in the text field and
    press the button and the list item is populated
    for the value 13.

    Now when I click on the button again, the list
    is cleared out and does not re-populate for the
    value 13.

    Any assistance is appreciated
    Thanks

    Red face

    I am not a experienced form head but does the form not need to be refreshed again after you press the button?

    regards
