    Exclamation Unanswered: ServicePack Versions

    Hi Guys,

Does anyone know which I should take for been the correct service pack version.
After installing SP3, when I use the select @@version command line in query analyser I am returned 8.0.679. However when I go to help I get 8.0.760 (which is sp2 for sql2k).
    Very confused,
    ken

I believe the version returned by the select @@version command would be the right one .

    SQL Server SP2 is:
    Microsoft SQL Server 2000 - 8.00.534 (Intel X86)

    SP3 is:
    Microsoft SQL Server 2000 - 8.00.760 (Intel X86)

FOr sp3 the BOL is not updated automatically (if that is where you are looking). I find the easier way is doing

    select serverproperty('productlevel')
