    Arrow Unanswered: DB2 userexit program

    OS: NT
    DB: DB2 UDB V7 FP9

When enabling userexit in db configuration we simply set it to ON but how does DB2 knows whats the name of the program or does it specifically look for a file with default name?

    My questions now:
    1. What is the default name of the file and
    2. If we can (change the userexit file name) then how can we let DB2 know about that?

    Re: DB2 userexit program

DB2 userexit should always be called db2uext2.exe on Windows ...

For obvious reasons, it should be in a directory in the PATH ... The common practice is to put it in sqllib/misc
