    Red face Unanswered: How to reduce the unallocated space of a database?

    I tried DBCC SHRINKDATABASE, however, can not reduce the unallocated space. Please help!

    Press rite click on a database u want n then goto all tasks>shrink database

    press files button
    select database file u want to shrink
    then select shrink file to (type used space)
    press ok button

    You can also set the database to auto_shrink. Enterprise manager: right-click on your database, choose properties and then the options tabl. You'll see just below the middle on the right the option auto_shrink.
