    Unanswered: 2 Sybase instances

    All,

I have an NT Sybase server on the same box that I also have a Sybase Open Client installation pointing to UNIX servers.

It seems that the two instances are bumping into each other in terms of PATH specifications as well as Environment variables such as SYBASE= etc.

How might I install things so that the two environments can co-exist properly?

    Thanks,

    Isaac

I would simply create 2 seperate batch files and source the ENV variables on demand.

Create one for local NT dataserver and source the SYBASE.bat file from the %SYBASE% directory.

Create another for the OC on UNIX and source the SYBASE.bat from that OC directory.

The Server installation on NT includes all necessary files to connect to the Unix ASE
