    Unanswered: Nr. of Updated Recoreds

How can I get the number of Updated records using the UPDATE ... SET
    SQL?
    ex.
DoCmd.RunSql("UPDATE poz SET poz.Inst=7017") How could I get the number of Record affected, to put it in a Log file for example or display it on the screen.
    Thanks

dcount the recorset that you are going to update first

    dim i as integer
i = dcount ("[somefield]","you sql statement using 'select')

write the value of i to log
