Unanswered: How to measure number of transactions

    Hi,

How to measure how many transactions (LUW) are done within some period of time?
Sample: I would like to know how many transactions (LUW) are complited within one day.

    My system: DB2 v8.1 fp4 on Windows XP Sp1.

    Thanks,
    Grofaty

Take a snapshot for the database

    Commit statements attempted = 1375133
    Rollback statements attempted = 284
    Dynamic statements attempted = 4772397
    Static statements attempted = 618175
    Failed statement operations = 374
Select SQL statements executed = 19015
    Update/Insert/Delete statements executed = 643258
    DDL statements executed = 15

Could this information help in any way?

Remember, the count is since the time you activated the database or reset monitor switches, whichever is later ... To know the number of transactions/day, maybe you can reset the switches at midnight and then take a snapshot next midnight ...
