ERROR: Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors. Check each OLE DB status value, if available. No work was done.
I am using MySQL and ASP. I have a login page that when you put in the correct username and password, it goes to the member's personal page. The personal page contains 2 text fields that I want to be a 'Text' datatype instead of 'Varchar' because I want the text to be over 255 characters long.
For some reason, when I convert the MySQL datatype to 'Text' instead of 'Varchar (225)', it gives me this error message above. If I use 'Varchar', it works fine. But I don't want to use 'Varchar' because of its limitations. Any reason why this happens? Any suggestions? Thanks.
