do you mean the PSP pages or the pages which use oracle server toolkit (OWA package). Are you using IAS to deploy these pages? Read the documentation that comes with IAS.

There should be examples set up for you in the default install of IAS

Do you understand the concept of DADS?

A DAD is a Database Access Descriptor which acts as a pointer to a database via a URL (and your server of course)

So for example if you set-up a DAD called TESTDAD which pointed to a database called TESTDATABASE then the when you enter to URL
    http://IASERVER/PLS/TESTDAD/TESTWEBPAGE

PLS was the default url last time I checked.

The procedure TESTWEBPAGE would be executed in the TESTDATABASE.

You must ensure that your TNS ENTRY exists for your TESTDATABASE in you IAS network/admin directory as far as I remember.

Have you done all this. This page may be able to answer any further question you may have:

    Hi

if possible can you send the full details about how to run a plsql server page application. because iam getting confused with that one, actually i had written a small helloworld program and executed it dos prompt using loadpsp command , it compiled successfully. Then i could not understand what is the next step, then i go to the 9iApplicationServer and there i created a DAD. but i am unable to understand what is the exact process after compilation of the application. can you explain me how we create DAD and how can we access the url in the browser.

    Thank you .
