    Unanswered: PHP Triad

    Can someone help me with PHP Triad? I installed it on my local machine, but when I go to my page, I just get the code. I'mm guessing that PHP isn't started but I don't know how to start it. I thought PHP Triad configures everything?
    Thanks.

    you should try FastWork bacause is really fast it works on win 9x too (if you use fastwork 1 or fastwork 2.0.5+patch).
    I have problems too with phptriad and that`s why i use fastwork now, i never manage to install phptriad.
    download & useful information: http://sourceforge.net/projects/fastwork/
    it will be useful to read the project documentation and in 6 quick steps you have php4, apache2 and mysql 4 ready: http://sourceforge.net/docman/?group_id=89492

    Question

    btw i saw on the PHP Triad home page that the last files are dated : "January 9, 2002", 2 years ago? Is not out of date?
    The page is: http://sourceforge.net/projects/phptriad/ ? Or did they move to another location?
    Witch php, apache and mysql version they have?
    And finally how do you solved your problem? What was wrong?

    I have this version:
    phptriad2-2-1
    I am very new to the whole thing, so I don't know anything about it. Everything seems to work fine, so as they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I don't even remember what I did to get it to work. I think it was just pointing to the wrong place where my php files were stored. I downloaded it from here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/p...1.exe?download

    oki, tanks.
    I`ve just asking that because i saw the date of the last file they release to the project page @ sourceforge.net and it seams to me that is getting old and outdated.
    btw take a look here: http://fastwork.sourceforge.net/phpinfo.htm
    tanx again

    The link you sent is just for PHP right? I tried to install Apache and PHP seperately, but couldn't get it to work, so I installed the Triad and it works fine. Thanks for your replies.

    the page (if you are talking about this one: http://fastwork.sourceforge.net/phpinfo.htm ) is saved from a computer running a new version of fastwork (in internet explorer File / Save AS) and it will be the info.php page with the fallowing code:

    <?php
    phpinfo();
    ?>

    for you to run this code on your home computer you will need a web server (apache) and PHP, and is exactly what PHP TRIAD and FASTWORk do (install apache, php and mysql).
    My question was: you allready installed PHP TRIAD witch version of php, apache and mysql you have now comparing to the phpinfo() taken from the next version of FASTWORK?
