    Unanswered: v$database

    Hi,
    I can select from v$database........as follows......but when I tried to describe v$database its asking some values..... Hope someone will clarify it.



    SQL> select * from v$database;

    you have written v&database NOT v$database.
    So it WILL ask for value of variable databse.
    Check the & sign
