    Unanswered: Oracle Error -1056954602

    Hi.

    I would like to know what this oracle error number means?

    I can't find any referrence to it in:
    http://download-west.oracle.com/docs...a96584/toc.htm

    or
    http://download-west.oracle.com/docs...a96525/toc.htm

    I am using Oralce Call interface (Version 920) on windows 2000 with MSVC++ 6.0.

    I am with Anacedent. That # does not adhere to Oracle's standard format.

    I would have to agree with the above answers ... Doesn't look, smell, or even feel like an Oracle error ... Not found on Metalink either ...

    hmmm. YOu may be right.
    ie This is returned from the Oracle Call Interface layer and is the same number as the MS ADO error numbers (which makes sense).

    I found out that it actually mean Invalid Number.

    Sorry about that.
