    Unanswered: communicating data in vb

    sir,
    iam a fresh guy to practical field.iam doing a project on analytical instrumentation.in that i have to monitor different voltages in visual basic 6.0 from an 12-bit a/d convereter from one of communication ports into flexgrid control of vb.please explain me the sequence of steps i have to take care of.

    You should be able to use the microsoft comm control component. In vb, under projects -> components, choose the comm control.

    sir,
    this is the program i have written.i wanted see the result by shorting 2 and 3 pins of comm port1.why iam always getting outbuffercount as 0.and mscomm1.input as ""
