Question Unanswered: Sharing one database between two programs.

My hosting service gives me a mySQL database but only one, it is quite large (100mb) so i was hoping to share the database between two programs, one is gallery (gallery.sourceforge.net, don't go to www.gallery.com it is NSFW, needless to say it suprised me) and one that i am writting. I am new to this whole mySQL thing. Thanks in advance for the help.

You can use the same database for more than one software. Just use different table prefixes: "ga1_...." gallery1, "ga2_...." gallery2, "fo1_...." forum, ........
