Unanswered: How to start recordset from different number than 1 ?

    Hi,

i want to start recordset from different number than 1. Let say 100 so the nav bar shows 100..101..102 etc.

I have customers with assigned ids 100..101 etc and i want this to correspond with the navbar numbers in a form.

any ideas how to do it ?

The 1st record has to write the AutoNumber value and all subsequent additions do not.

I meant something else. There is a navigation bar at the bottom of the screen which says which record i am at and how many records are there. So if i go to record 1 and i have 10 records it would say record 1 of 10. i want to change it so it says record 100 of 110 that is i want the recordset to start from 100 not 1.

    You can use

    DoCmd.GoToRecord , , acGoTo, 100
