    Unanswered: right justify table columns

    Hi,

I'm using Access to export to a .txt file and I need some numbers right justified. How can I set a format on a field so that it's right justified for an export?

    Thanks.

I dont think it is possible to set this for an export. Easiest way, although it may not work for your situation, is to format the table the way you want it in a report and then export this to a .txt file.

    create a query

    select ... , right(space(15) & str(numfld),15) as strfld
    from ...

then export the query, not the table
