    Angry Unanswered: Newbie- search problem.

Designing a database for college assignment. A booking system for holiday cottages. I've hit a brick wall.

My cottages table has the following fields.

    Cottage ID (primary Key)
Owner Id (related to owner table)
    Sleeps (combo box, 1,2,3,4,5,6+)
    Name (name of cottage)
    Address (address of cottage)
    Area (text field)
Rating (combo box ,family, executive, sporting, accessible)
Location (Combobox, Coastal town, coastal rural, inland town, inland rural)
    disabled acces (checkbox)
    Pets (checkbox)

I'm trying to create a 'search' page where the user can enter a customers requirements,

    (e.g sleeps=4, area=tenby, Rating=family, disabled acces=no, pets=yes)

and get a list that meet those parameters.

I've tried doing query-by-form, and using a subform, but i can't figure it out.

Any suggestions? (other than just not doing it!)

Can you post your query statement for your search page? What is the error you got?

Didn't get an error as such, just can't get my head round how to do it.
As for the query by form I created a new form with unbound controls on, and used this code (from the microsoft site.) for the query

    [forms]![myform]![field] Or [forms]![myform]![field] Is Null

It just gives the same results all the time no matter what parameters i change. (also couldn't figure out the checkboxes in this method either.)
the form then ran a macro which ran the query and displayed the results into a new form
