Reason Code 1 --> The lobpath is not a valid sqlu_media_list or the values provided are not valid. The media_type must be SQLU_LOCAL_MEDIA and all pathnames must be terminated with a valid path separator.

    Re: SQL3040 during blob import.

When working with lobs import, you may have to use

    lobs from <filename>

    modified by lobsinfile

    options in the IMPROT Command

Have a look at the command reference or data movement utiltiy guide for further details ..

    Re: SQL3040 during blob import.

    Thank you very much.

Now my import is working fine. The input file was not formatted initially. Now i corrected it.

    input file:
    ----------
    001,phot1.bmp
    002,phto2.bmp
    etc..

I have a small problem in export.

db2 "export to c:\mic\out.del of del lobs to c:\mic lobfile lobs1, lobs2 modified by lobsinfile select * from test"

For the above command, the output file is produced like,

    out.del:
    ---------
    001, "lobs1.001.0.77774/"
    001, "lobs1.001.77774.976758/"

In c:\mic directory, there is only one file lobs1.001 created. (it contains both images, separated by offset)

Is it possible to get the same image file name, when i do export? ie, i want to get photo1.bmp & photo2.bmp in c:\mic directory. (instead of lobs1.001)?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards
    Prakash
