    Unanswered: autokeys

    hello all
we are busy converting an old access database to an adp for reasons that are not to be mentioned..
anyway their is an old macro that when you press a function key specified the macro runs no matter where you are in the database.
it sits silently in the backgound and is not attached to anything.
is there any way of doing this in vba?????? we do not want to have to use the on key press event on every form in the database.
    thanks very much

there's no official way of doing this via vba. you could possibly use the winapi and place hooks but i wouldn't reccommend on that. just keep the macro part to a minimum and directly call into vba via the runcode action.
