Unanswered: Updating all fields in record

    Hi!

How do you update all the fields in a record without specifying each field to be updated in the SET statement of the Update query?

You can't. You can set the value for an entire column ...

So how do you think I can solve this problem?

I have 3 versions of a database. One is the original db and two with updated records. How can I update the records in the original database using the 2 updated databases?

Nothing like changing the parameters of your question eh???? Here's your problem: Which of the 2 updated DBs is going to refresh the original DB? Are the updates the same?

The 2 DBs both have updates on different records. If DB1 has an updated record1 and DB2 has an updated record2 then I want the original DB updated on both record1 and record2.
