    Unanswered: Using IN clause to append to password protected DB

    The following is in my Access 2000 VBA application.

    How can I get this to work when the database specified by the path in the IN clause is password protected. Get MS Access message "Not a valid password"

    Sql = "INSERT INTO [TableA] IN '" & [Forms]![frmForm1]!txtUNCName & "'" & " SELECT [TableA].* FROM [TableA]"

    DoCmd.RunSQL Sql

    Perhaps specify a connect string before running the sql?
