    Unanswered: links with variables

    you know how you can have a form with a varible in it?
    for examples

    <form method=post action=dest.php>
    <input type=submit name=jack>
    </fom>

    The page called dest.php can have something like:

    if (isset(POST['jack'])) { blah blah blah} else {blah blah blah}

    Right?

    Well, is there a way to have the input in plain text instead of a submit, select, checkbox or text????????
    sort of like a link
    It would be nice to also have th a hover feature work with it too

    Thanks very much Noam

    I'm not exactly sure what you mean by that, but I'll take a shot at what your trying to say...

    A link with variables:
    <a href="dest.php?jack=value">Link</a>

    You would check that like this:
    if (isset($_GET['jack'])) { blah blah blah} else {blah blah blah}

    Another way:
    <input type="text" name="jack" style="border: 0px;">

    Same way as before.

    Let me know if that's not what you meant.
