    Question Unanswered: Occurrance of deadlocks

Given 2 servers, identical in schema, same version of ASE, table sizes slightly different but proportional, same indexes, same query plans.
10,000 transactions send to one server.
30,000 transactions send to another server.
It was observed that the types of deadlocks that appeared on the 2 databases differ very much.

It should be proportional....based on the probablility theory, given such large sample size....

    Any one got any idea?

Too much parameters (size of the caches, allocation/fragmentation of the pages, index statistics, choices of the optimizer, etc) are influencing an ASE to apply such theoritical rules.
