I'm not good with Access Forms, but I'm learning.

Anyway, I have a form that uses 3 tables. From the primary table, I have a 1-1 and 1-many relationship with the other tables. I have a primary key in the Main table that relates to the 1-1 and 1-many table.

I've created a form that will allow me to make a record in the Main table, add multiple lines in the 1-many table, and add 1 line in the 1-1 table.

I'm able to use the Combo box to pull-up the record I want, and it does retrieve everything else I've entered to that point for that Key too. My problem is that it won't let me update anything. It keeps giving me a "can't update because you'd create duplicate primary keys" kind of message. Now, if I use the arrow keys at the bottom of the form to go through each record in the Main table one at a time, I CAN update the fields for all subforms/tables.

I think this has something to do with the Main table. But I'm not sure why the form wouldn't update the fields from the Combo box, and allow me to update the record in the table.
