Do you need training on how to use Google?
Please forgive me for comming here to ask such beginner questions but I am jsut starting out with Oracle and I had exhasted all my other options. I am very grateful that a Guru such as yourself would take the time answer my simple questions. You are a true saint.

I had also found these documents on the web but they obviously can't help me. I don't have a c:\...\BasicDemo> folder and do not I have xdbUtility.sql anywhere on my PC.

All I am trying to do is figure out how to configure the XDB Web server that is automatically fired up when I start the database. At the very least I want to chage the port number it is running on. The command 'call XDB_UTILITY.SET_HTTP_PORT(nnnn);' does not work. The documentation says to install the XDB_UTILITY package but I cannot find where it is.

Thank you for your cordial response.

I think this can help you:

XML API Reference - XDK and Oracle XML DB Contents / Search / Index / PDF
XML Database Developer's Guide - Oracle XML DB Contents / Search / Index / PDF
XML Developer's Kits Guide - XDK Contents / Search / Index / PDF
