    Question Unanswered: Access Report Print Problem

    Hi,

    This is the situation:

    1 mainform with 1 subform in it.
    Data on mainform + subform

    Button to create report.
    Report contains the same values as on the form atm.
    Control Source of textbox @ report is by example:
    "=Forms!Frm_DcfMain!Frm_DcfItems.Form!CRF"

    Problem: When I create a report, access create multiple ( the same ) pages. For each record entered in the subform 1 page is created. So by example : if i have 8 lines in the table of the subform, access creates 8 reports. (! attention ! 8 reports are the same -> The data that is displayed on the form that is open, is displayed on 8 pages)

    any help would be welcome!

    thx, daff

    Try using a subreport. Same concept as form and subform. Link child/master fields, etc.

    Additionally, be careful about the section where you place your data in the report. If controls are placed in the detail section, they will be repeated for every record found in the recordsource of the report. Sometimes I have a report with nothing in the detail section.

    omg... strange

    I just tried to copy all the fields 1 by 1 to find out why and when he gave the error (print multiple pages).
    Conclusion: I copy / pasted all the shit on a new report and it worked fine

    strange... very strange... but it works now
