    Question Unanswered: From one view to the next

    Hi,

    I have a problem and I know there must be a simple way of doing it but I just can't get my head around it:

    I want to create a form which shows all the records and when you dubble-click on one of the records you go to the actual form where where the record has been filled in.

    PLEASE, please please let me know if someone knows what to do.

    Hello again,
    Try this Double-Click event procedure and see if it works...it comes from my database for which I do the exact same thing.
    Bud

    Private Sub PONumber_DblClick(Cancel As Integer)
    'Created by Bud.
    'Opens the QSOrderItems from when the user double-clicks the PONumber in the subform.

    Dim stDocName As String
    Dim stLinkCriteria As String

    stDocName = "QSOrderItems"

    stLinkCriteria = "[PONumber]=" & "'" & Me![PONumber] & "'"
    DoCmd.OpenForm stDocName, acFormDS, , stLinkCriteria

    Exit_PONumber_DblClick:
    Exit Sub

    Err_PONumber_DblClick:
    MsgBox Err.Description
    Resume Exit_PONumber_DblClick

    End Sub
