Unanswered: how to create a progress bar.

    Hi Everyone,

I want to show progress bar in the starting form of my application.
I think their are two ways of doing this.

    1. By putting some animated progress image in the form.
    2. by putting text item in the form and then changing its size at run
    time.

problem is this i dont know how to implement both these techneqs.

Can someone help me in creating this bar.

    Many Thanks,
    Kashif.

Let me know what all the form load involves.
For example, if you are reading some data from tables/files, doing some initial process.
I don't know what kind of form you are mentioning. In general, divide the complete process of form load into number of tasks, you may write different functions/procedures. Call these procedures/functions from a main program, where in parallelly keep displaying the progress bar with some progress.
By the way what's ur front end development tool?
