    Post Unanswered: unable to take an export in oracle 8.0.5

    Hi,

    Whenever i m taking an export from oracle 8.0.5 version all the tables with the data is getting exported but when it is exporting views the export is getting terminated without exporting synonyms.Can anyone help me out regarding this.The synatax is as follows.

    cmd>exp80 system@orcl1 file=xyz.dmp owner=a consitent=y statistics=none

    Hi,

    I have checked with exp80 and i have done as per the syntax of it.Pls check the syntax which i have given in the 1st post and let me know if any modifications has to be done.

    come on.
    there has to be a help for the export utilitydoesn't there?
