Unanswered: Share db on a network

I want to make an MDE file of my database from the database utilities so the users on a network would only have access to the form interfaces and would not be able to go to design views of tables, forms etc.

Once I make the db an MDE file
    1) Can I still make changes to my tables, queries, forms, etc?
    2) Can I still import data into this MDE file?

I trying to understand how I would have the admin rights to this database so I can make any kind of modifications and updates to it and those updates would be current for the MDE file as well.

Note: I only have small db without an SQL backend and there are only 9 users.

    Thanks.

Re: Share db on a network

If you are putting an mde file on a server for all of your users to access it then what you need to do is make all the changes in the mdb file on your pc and then create a new mde file. Then ask all your users to quit from the app and then replace the existing mde file with this new file.
