    Unanswered: My hours database

I have entered all of my work hours into Access XP. I work in two different rooms. I am trying to make my table show the room number where I work next to the hours I work but instead it gives my Hours for both rooms and then the room numbers. I have tried everything I can think of but to no avail. Can you help me.

    Re: My hours database

Without the SQL, I doubt I can be of much help but I'll try off the top of my head...

I'm assuming this is being done in a Totals query... You need to make sure that you are Grouping By [fldRoomNumber] and Summing [fldHours] ...Should be that simple...

I don't know your field names or table name so I can't be more specific... Sorry...

It would if I could download the thing at work... lol... but I can't...

But by all means, post it if it's not got anything confidential in it... Someone else can probably take a quick look and help you out...
