    Unanswered: Printing Trade outputs in Stored procedures

    Hi..

    Im using Informix Dynamic Server 9.x,

    I used some stroed procedures for my application. how can i debug them
    while running it.

    for example Print statement in SQL Server,
    and out.println in Oracle..

    And im using ServerStudio JE to write and execute procedures.


    Any help will be highly appreaciated.

    Hi,

    For debug an store procedure you need insert the folowing sentences
    CREATE PROCEDURE xxxxx
    define
    ..............
    .............

    set debug file to "path of file.debug" ;
    trace on;
    ........
    ........
    .........
    trace off;
    ....
    .....
    END PROCEDURE
