Unanswered: Oracle 9i Startup and Shutdown scripts

    Hello Everyone!

I am having problems creating a shell script in starting and shutdown the oracle 9i.

In oracle 8i, you just need to use the svrmgrl. but in 9i, the svrmgrl was no longer available.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Cheers,
    Santi

    Hi Everyone again!

I already got the startup script. It is already included in the oracle9i called "dbstart". but, you need to configure the oratab for automatic start.

For your info. just incase, someone encountered this problem.
