    Lightbulb Unanswered: Oracle DB - Redistribution

    Dear All,

    I am newbie to Oracle; Can you let me know the number of possible ways to redistribute the DB to the End-user?

    You do not diistribute the software to the users. You give them access and they come to the software.

    I am doing development for my Customer who is actually in remote place. They have their own Licencesed Oracle and I am having my Own. I have done the project here and now I have to send the DB to them..

    In case of SQL Server, I can generate SQL Scripts to create DB and Tables... I don't have any Idea about Oracle.. ANy help?

    well one good option is to send them a export of the schema!!

    Ok use must use the export utility

    simply

    /orabin/bin/exp username/password file=filename.dmp log=filename.log

    username is the user who owns the object u created

    and u must send them the filename.dmp to import to thei database with the import utility
