    Unanswered: msxml3.dll error '800c0005'

    Dear All,

    I have a strange error. I could have my ASP code work in IIS of windows xp, but it does not work when i upload it to remote server using windows server 2003. Here below my code,

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    sVal1 = "aaaa"
    sVal2 = "bbbb"

    sForm="auth_user=" & sVal1 & "&auth_password=" & sVal2

    Set oXMLHttp=Server.CreateObject("MSXML2.XMLHTTP")
    oXMLHttp.open "POST", "http://test.com/authenticate", false
    oXMLHttp.setRequestHeader "lastCached", now()
    oXMLHttp.setRequestHeader "Content-Type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded"
    oXMLHttp.send sForm

    response.Write(oXMLHttp.ResponseText)
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    and i got the error,

    msxml3.dll error '800c0005'

    The system cannot locate the resource specified.

    Check this (not sure how useful): http://www.developersdex.com/asp/mes...osoft%2Ecom%3E

    I have got this before; Check;

    Server has the correct version of MSXML installed
    Also I have noticed problems trying to get stuff from the server where the script is running.

    /includes/authen/authentication.asp, line 21
    There aren't 21 lines in your script that you posted. Either post the whole thing or highlight line 21.

    I have read through the document and it says that Windows 2003 already has the laster version of MsXML. Anyway, I also try to re-install the new version and up to now still no luck.

    Any more idea to help me out? my code is just only the posted code, the rest lines of code are commented out...so the line 21 is,

    Set oXMLHttp=Server.CreateObject("MSXML2.XMLHTTP")

    Help!!!
