    Lightbulb Unanswered: How to take Database offline through Command Center

    Control center is not working, but command center is functioning properly, and i need to restore my old backup.

    I'm trying to restore , getting error that database is in use.

    So, would u please guide me how to take database offline through command center so i can restore the backup ?

    Check out the FORCE APPLICATION command in the Command Reference manual. You can force off all applicitons or just certain ones. See the syntax in the manual.

    Thanks for your responce.

    I did the same thing and then tried to restore the database.

    But getting error of different images !!!!!!!


    One more question please !!

    what is the role of nextseq.log in DB2 ?

    I don't know about nextseq.log.

    Exactly what error message are you getting and what does the Messages and Codes manual say about that?
