Unanswered: Two different versions on a Windows 2000 server

    Hi there...

I was wondering if there is any specific problems related to installing two different versions of Oracle on one server. I want to install a 9i and 8 on the same server and I was considering problems concerning memory usage and listener problems...

Do you install both the version but only one listener ??

Are there any considerations concerning memory usage ??

Is this basically a bad idea ?? It would be nice to have some arguments for and against this...

    Thanks in advance

    Cheers

Its a production environment with a web-app as the primary consumer on both.
