    Unanswered: Macro setting/keeping focus

I'm having a form with a subform and a macro attached to the On Current-event. The macro uses GoToControl and GoToRecord in order to show the last record in the subform. This puts the cursor at the first field in the subform, but I want the cursor to be placed at its original location (the first field of the mainform).

I've tried to solve this by using another GoToControl in the macro with various Control Names, including [name of the mainform], [name of the first field in the mainform] and Forms![MainFormName].Setfocus, without any luck.

Do I have to use VisualBasic to solve this problem? If so: could someone try explaining the procedure to me step by step as I am a total newbie to VB?
