Arrow Unanswered: great increase in database size

I have a db and when it is fully compacted it is only 9 to 10 mb in size. However, in a few days if I don't compact it, it can get to 80 to 90 mb's in size.
What causes this great increase? How can it possible to compact from front end (VB)?

It is impossible to compact a database from the same database. However, you can have a database that just compacts other databases. Then place some code in your original database to open the second one.

Hope this doesn't sound too garbled!

Sorry - i don't have the code to compact another database i just know that it can be done!
