Unanswered: How to run Access in the background via Task Scheduler
I have some A2000 db's running from the Windows 2000 Task Scheduler and they all run in the foreground. During the day, this becomes distracting, so I want to run them in the background or minimized. I can't find a switch in the Task Scheduler to do this...any simple ideas?
The easiest way to accomplish this is to create a short cut to the database that you want to run. Right click on the short cut, in in the "Run" combo box, choose "Minimized". Then add that short cut to your task scheduler. When the database runs, it will run minimized on the task bar.
That's the best solution I can offer at this time.
