    Unanswered: Query that prompts user for specific date?

    I have a database with about 50 date fields (date1, date2, date3 etc), each field is nonrepeating. so let's say you want to search by today's date, 1/28/04, is there a way to get the query to have a popup prompt that allows the user to type in the specific date (in this case, 1/28/04) and then have the query to scan all of the records for that specific date?

    SELECT TableName1.DateField, TableName1.*
    FROM TableName1
    WHERE (((TableName1.DateField)=[Enter Date]));

    You could create a parameter in the query that the report is feeding from.

    See the IT Assets Example Wizard Database from Access, that will help you
