    Angry Unanswered: report <--> query

    hi,

    problem:
    made a report.
    A field should be filled with a value out of a query. (example: =Qry_ActInv1!Principal )
    Query itselfs works fine.
    When trying to get a preview of the report it gives me a box telling:
    Enter parameter value Qry_ActInv1 ...
    On my report the txtbox isnt filled in and i receive #error.

    any ideas?

    thx

    here ya go:

    SELECT Tbl_Tab2.Center, Tbl_Tab2.Principal, Investigators.[Investigator Surname], Investigators.[CV on file]
    FROM Tbl_Tab2, Investigators
    WHERE (((Tbl_Tab2.Center)=[Forms]![Cinical Studies]![Frm_Tab1_subform].[Form]![Center]) AND ((Investigators.[Investigator Surname])=[Forms]![Cinical Studies]![Frm_Tab2_subform].[Form]![Principal]));

    (don't look @ spaces between names in fieldnames, i didn't create db, only adapting it now )

    It looks good, perhaps in your report there is a field not included in the Query, and he wants to know it. So check your report.
