    Unanswered: Query Question

I have a query that relates to two table and a calculation in another query.

When I show the results with 'Total: Group By' I get the expected 4 results of (say) 500.00.

But when I show the results with 'Total: Sum' I get the result times by three, i.e. instead of 2000.00, I get 6000.00.

Any reason why this is occuring on such simple coding??

    Thanks.

probably because you have a 1-many (3 in this case) relationship in the query. Check your relationships....

This is an idea but if the problem is in a reports see if the control 'Total: Sum' is in the section acFooter of the report.

Also check to see if you have "running sum" enabled.
